Outside In Becomes Inside Out

Romans 4:7-10

CLV 6 Even as David also is telling of the happiness of the man to whom God is reckoning righteousness apart from acts: 7 Happy they whose lawlessnesses were pardoned and whose sins were covered over! 8 Happy the man to whom the Lord by no means should be reckoning sin!

9 This happiness, then, is it for the Circumcision, or for the Uncircumcision also? For we are saying, "To Abraham faith is reckoned for righteousness." 10 How then, is it reckoned? Being in circumcision or uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision."

Abraham was the father of humanity under the law of Moses.

Romans 4:1-3

CLV 1 What, then, shall we declare that Abraham, our forefather, according to flesh, has found? 2 For if Abraham was justified by acts, he has something to boast in, but not toward God." 3 For what is the scripture saying? Now "Abraham believes God, and it is reckoned to him for righteousness."

Adam was still the corporate head of humanity.

Romans 5:18-21

ECB 18 Thus as through one downfall all humanity is unto condemnation; even thus through one justification all humanity is unto justification of life. 19 For exactly as through the disobedience of one human many were seated sinners, thus through the obedience of one many are seated just. 20 And the torah entered surreptitiously, so that the downfall superabound: and where sin superabounded, charism exceedingly superabounded: 21 so that exactly as sin reigned in death, even thus charism reigns through justness unto eternal life through Yah Shua Messiah our Adonay.

When Jesus was in the old covenant he made the legalists back off while cultivating His law inside the woman's heart.

John 8:1-11

YLT 1 And at dawn he came again to the temple, 2 and all the people were coming unto him, and having sat down, he was teaching them; 3 and the scribes and the Pharisees bring unto him a woman having been taken in adultery, and having set her in the midst, 4 they say to him, `Teacher, this woman was taken in the very crime—committing adultery, 5 and in the law, Moses did command us that such be stoned; thou, therefore, what dost thou say?' 6 and this they said, trying him, that they might have to accuse him. And Jesus, having stooped down, with the finger he was writing on the ground, 7 and when they continued asking him, having bent himself back, he said unto them, `The sinless of you—let him first cast the stone at her;' 8 and again having stooped down, he was writing on the ground, 9 and they having heard, and by the conscience being convicted, were going forth one by one, having begun from the elders—unto the last; and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 And Jesus having bent himself back, and having seen no one but the woman, said to her, `Woman, where are those—thine accusers? did no one pass sentence upon thee?' 11 and she said, `No one, Sir;' and Jesus said to her, `Neither do I pass sentence on thee; be going on, and no more sin.'

Put under the law, those already dead in the family of Adam committed many more personal offences. They were kept covered by that same law, with the animal sacrifices.

Romans 5:16-21

LITV 16 And the gift shall not be as by one having sinned; for indeed the judgment was of one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offenses to justification. 17 For if by the offense of the one death reigned through the one, much more those who are receiving the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall rule in life by the One, Jesus Christ. 18 So then, as through one offense it was toward all men to condemnation, so also by one accomplished righteousness toward all men to justification of life. 19 For as through the one man's disobedience the many were constituted sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many shall be constituted righteous. 20 But Law came in beside, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace much more abounded, 21 that as sin ruled in death, so also grace might rule through righteousness to everlasting life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Jesus was raised out of the dead ones twice. Once in the old and once into the new creation.

Romans 1:4

4 who is marked out Son of God in power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the rising again from the dead ones, Jesus Christ our Lord;

He was raised under O.C.law to gain the Holy Spirit's presence for the humanity he would spiritually die for, in order to set them free from the law.

Titus 3:5 (Jews were renewed not replaced, as Jewish Paul explained to Greek Titus.)

ECB 16 and baptizes Yah Shua: and he ascends straightway from the water: and behold, the the heavens open to him, and he sees the Spirit of Elohim descending, as a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 and behold, a voice from the the heavens, wording, This is my beloved Son, of whom I well-approve.

Jesus took on the law and was baptized with water before He gained the Holy Spirit presence for His people. Then He ministered to them for three and a half years. Now we are gifted with the same Holy Spirit presence, who starts working from the inside out, before we are baptized in water.

John 1:32-33  (Jesus was marked out under law by the Spirit of holiness.)

YLT 32 And John testified, saying—`I have seen the Spirit coming down, as a dove, out of heaven, and it remained on him; 33 and I did not know him, but he who sent me to baptize with water, He said to me, On whomsoever thou mayest see the Spirit coming down, and remaining on him, this is he who is baptizing with the Holy Spirit;

LITV 16 And out of His fullness we all received, and grace on top of grace.

Gentiles are called into the Jewish regeneration too!

Romans 9:23-24

CLV 23 it is that He should also be making known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He makes ready before for glory -"24 us, whom He calls also, not only out of the Jews, but out of the nations also."

The Jews weren't truly circumcised until Yeshua sent the Holy Spirit to the 12 tribes gathered on Pentecost. Why did He send the Spirit on the Hebrew nation's betrothal holiday?

Jeremiah 9:24-26 (A renewed marriage covenant is the answer:)

Brenton 24 but let him that boasts boast in this, the understanding and knowing that I am the Lord that exercise mercy, and judgment, and righteousness, upon the earth; for in these things is my pleasure, saith the Lord. 25 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will visit upon all the circumcised their uncircumcision; 26 on Egypt, and on Idumea, and on Edom, and on the children of Ammon, and on the children of Moab, and on every one that shaves his face round about, even them that dwell in the wilderness; for all the Gentiles are uncircumcised in flesh, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in their hearts.

Jesus died to set the nation free to remarry a better husbandman;

in contrast to the 'law keepers' who were willing to sacrifice their wives for any infraction (for a new one to the same old hard hearted husband).

Matthew 19:8

JuliaSmith 8 He says to them that Moses for your hard heart permitted you to loose your wives: and from the beginning it was not so.

Jeremiah 4:4

Brenton 4 Circumcise yourselves to your God, and circumcise your hardness of heart, ye men of Juda, and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my wrath go forth as fire, and burn, and there be none to quench it, because of the evil of your devices.

Acts 7:51

CLV 51 Stiff-necked and uncircumcised in your hearts and ears, you are ever clashing with the holy spirit! As your fathers, you also!"

Romans 2:29

LITV 29 but he is a Jew that is one inwardly, and circumcision is of heart, in spirit, not in letter; of whom the praise is not from men, but from God.

The new husbandman is the new heart of flesh. The old heart of Israel was fallen Adam which led to the law written on stone.

Ezekiel 36:26

YLT 26 And I have given to you a new heart, And a new spirit I give in your midst, And I have turned aside the heart of stone out of your flesh, And I have given to you a heart of flesh.

Being in the transition generation, Paul reached out to the Jews who were still under old covenant law. Paul also gave the gospel to the Gentiles who were not under old covenant law.

1 Corinthians 9:18-21 Paul was not hard hearted any more.

LITV 18 What then is my reward? That announcing the gospel I may make the gospel of Christ free, so as not to use fully my authority in the gospel. 19 For being free of all, I enslaved myself to all, that I might gain the more. 20 And I became as a Jew to the Jews, that I might gain Jews; to those under Law as under Law, that I might gain those under Law; 21 to those without Law as without Law (not being without law of God, but under the law of Christ), that I might gain those without Law.

Galatians 6 The law of Christ doesn't demand outward conformity.

LITV 1 Brothers, if a man is taken in some fault, you, the spiritual ones, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering yourself, that you not also be tempted. 2 Bear one another's burdens, and so you will fulfill the law of Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks to be something, he deceives himself, being nothing. 4 But let each one prove his work, and then he alone will have a boast in himself and not as to another. 5 For each one will bear his own load. 6 But let the one being taught in the word share with the one teaching, in all good things. 7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man may sow, that he also will reap. 8 For the one sowing to his flesh will reap corruption of the flesh. But the one sowing to the Spirit will reap everlasting life from the Spirit. 9 But we should not weaken in doing good, for in due time we shall reap, if we do not faint. 10 So then, as we have time, let us work good toward all, and especially toward the household of the faith.11 See in what large letters I write to you with my hand. 12 As many as desire to look well in the flesh, these compel you to be circumcised, only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. 13 For they themselves having been circumcised do not even keep the Law, but they desire you to be circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh.14 But may it never be for me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision has any strength nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. 16 And as many as shall walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them and on the Israel of God. 17 For the rest, let no one give troubles to me, for I bear in my body the brands of the Lord Jesus. 18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.

The mortal Adamic body became the immortal body of Christ. Everybody in the body of Christ lives forever.

1 Corinthians 15:51-58

ALT 51 Listen! I tell you(p) a secret: We indeed will not all sleep [fig., die], but we will all be changed [or, be transformed], 52 in a moment, in a blinking of an eye, in the last trumpet, for it will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible [or, imperishable], and we will be changed [or, transformed]! 53 For it is necessary [for] this corruptible to put on incorruption, and this mortal to put on immortality. 54 Now when this corruptible shall put on incorruption, and this mortal shall put on immortality, then will happen the word, the one having been written, "Death was swallowed up into victory." [Isaiah 25:8] 55 "O Death, where [is] your sting? O realm of the dead [Gr., hades], where [is] your victory?" [Hosea 13:14] 56 Now the sting of death [is] sin, but the power of sin [is] the Law. 57 But thanks [be] to God, the One giving us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! 58 So then, my beloved brothers [and sisters], continue becoming steadfast, unmovable, abounding in the work of the Lord at all times, knowing that your(p) labor is not empty [fig., not without results] in [the] Lord.

Many people are waiting for all of Israel to get saved.

Romans 11:25-26

ALT 25 For I do not desire [for] you(p) to be unaware, brothers [and sisters], of this secret [or, mystery], so that you(p) shall not be wise in your(p) own conceits, that hardness in part [fig., partial stubbornness]has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles comes in. 26 And so all Israel will be saved, just as it has been written, "The One delivering will come out of Zion, and He will turn away impiety [or, ungodliness] from Jacob;

The interpretation of “all Israel” that best fits the immediate context is that which understands “all Israel” as the nation of Israel as a whole, but not necessarily including every individual member of ethnic Israel.

Israel’s present hardening has a purpose in God’s plan, but this hardening is not permanent. The future restoration of the nation of Israel will involve their re-grafting into the olive tree, the one people of God. The restoration of Israel will mean their becoming part of the “true Israel” by faith in Jesus Christ the Messiah.

According to Mr Mathison "all Israel" will not necessarily include every individual that has ethnicity. I am not even sure what that means. Israel was always and still is a melting pot. For sure, not everyone in the old covenant had Abrahamic genes. But we will evidently get enough nationalists believing in their Messiah in order to graft the locational Israel back into the Olive tree. I assume the unbelievers on location will not be part of the true Israel; that is the one body of Christ.

Vise Versa

Could it be that the hardened part of old covenant Israel (impiety) was removed from the one body in AD 70 and now the covenant with Yahwey contains believers only? All Israel is saved in the new covenant. None are lost.
