We burn up our body of flesh as we work. If we stop eating we will get lighter and lighter until we die from burning too much of the fat and flesh off of our body. Eventually we age until we burn out. When the calorie fires stop burning our flesh expires. This is the normal fate of everyone whether we serve God or not. I should become less and less happy the older I get if my flesh is all important. Yet the apostle Paul's joy increased as he aged and eventually he was torn between staying in his flesh or leaving his flesh.

Philippians 1:23-24

YLT 23 for I am pressed by the two, having the desire to depart, and to be with Christ, for it is far better, 24 and to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account,

Philippians 2:17
LITV 17 But if indeed I am poured out on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice; yea, I rejoice with you all.

2 Timothy 4:6-8
ALT 6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has arrived. 7 I have fought the good fight; I have finished the course [or, race]; I have kept the faith. 8 Finally, [there] is laid up for me the victor's wreath [or, crown] of righteousness which the Lord, the Righteous Judge, will give to me in that Day, but not only to me, but also to all the ones having loved His appearing.

Romans 12:1
LITV 1 Therefore, brothers, I call on you through the compassions of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.

According to ancient Egyptian beliefs, preservation of the flesh through mumification is necessary to guarantee a good immortality in the afterlife. The dead person's body had to remain recognisable to himself and to others. Even today some Christians believe that everyone lives on forever after death and will in some way need to reunite with their original body of flesh. During times of persecution, pagans would burn the remains of Christians in an effort to remove their hope of being reunited with their recognisable loved ones.

Colossians 1:24-25

YLT 24 I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and do fill up the things lacking of the tribulations of the Christ in my flesh for his body, which is the assembly, 25 of which I—I did become a ministrant according to the dispensation of God, that was given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God,

2 Corinthians 12:15
YLT 15 and I most gladly will spend and be entirely spent for your souls, even if, more abundantly loving you, less I am loved.

John 15:13
YLT 13 greater love than this hath no one, that any one his life may lay down for his friends;

John 8:58

LITV 58 Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham came into being, I AM.

Exodus 3:14

LITV 14 And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM; and He said, you shall say this to the sons of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.

John 1:1

LITV 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14

LITV 14 And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, glory as of an only begotten from the Father, full of grace and of truth.

John 10:30-33

LITV 30 I and the Father are one! 31 Then again the Jews took up stones, that they might stone Him. 32 Jesus answered them, I showed you many good works from My Father. For which work of them do you stone Me? 33 The Jews answered Him, saying, We do not stone you concerning a good work, but concerning blasphemy; and because you, being a man, make yourself God.

Hebrews 13:11-13 (sacrificial flesh did not enter the Most Holy Place)

LITV 11 For of the animals whose "blood is brought" by the high priest "into the Holy of Holies" concerning sins, of these the bodies "are burned outside the camp." Lev. 16:27 12 Indeed, because of this, in order that He might sanctify the people by His own blood, Jesus suffered outside the gate. 13 So let us go forth to Him outside the camp bearing His reproach.

John 2:19-21

LITV 19 Jesus said to them, Destroy this sanctuary, and in three days I will raise it up. 20 Then the Jews said, This sanctuary was forty six years being built, and do you raise it up in three days? 21 But He spoke about the sanctuary of His body.

John 20:28

LITV 28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, My Lord and my God!

Colossians 2:9

LITV 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;

Colossians 2
ALT 1 For I want youp to know how great a struggle I have concerning youp and the ones in Laodicea and as many as have not seen my face in the flesh [fig., have not met me personally], 2 that their hearts [fig., inner selves, and throughout book] shall be comforted [or, encouraged], having been united in love, and [attaining] to all [the]riches [fig., abundance] of the full assurance of understanding, to the full [or, true] knowledge of the secret of both God the Father and of Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4 Now this I say so that no one shall be deceiving youp with persuasive speech. 5 For even though I am absent in the flesh, but I am with youp in the spirit, rejoicing and looking at [or, considering] yourp[good] order and the steadfastness of yourp faith in Christ. 6 Therefore, as youp received Christ Jesus the Lord, [so] be walking about [fig, be conducting yourselves] in Him, 7 having been rooted [fig., firmly established] and having been built up in Him and being established [or, strengthened] in the faith, just as youp were taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. 8 Be watching out lest anyone will be carrying youp away as spoils of war [fig., taking control of youp]through philosophy [or, human wisdom] and empty deception, according to the traditions of people, according to the rudimentary elements [or, basic teachings] of the world and not according to Christ. 9 Because in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead [or, Deity] bodily, 10 and youp have been made full [or, have been completed] in Him, who is the Head of every rule and authority, 11 in whom youp also were circumcised with a circumcision done without human hands, by the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ, 12 having been buried together with Him in baptism [or, immersion], in which youp also were raised together [with Him] through faith in the supernatural working of God, the One having raised Him from the dead. 13 And youp, being dead in yourptransgressions and the uncircumcision of yourp flesh, He made youp alive together with Him, having forgiven youp all transgressions, 14 having blotted out [or, canceled] the handwritten record of debts in the ordinances against us, which was contrary to us, and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross; 15 having disarmed the rulers and the authorities, He publicly disgraced them, having triumphed over them by it [i.e. the cross]. 16 Therefore, stop letting anyone judge youp in eating or in drinking or with regard to a feast or of a new moon [festival] or of Sabbaths, 17 which are a shadow of the coming [things], but the body [is] of Christ. 18 Stop letting anyone decide against youp [fig., judge youp as not being worthy], delighting in [false] humility and religious worship of the angels, basing his authority on [things] he has not seen, being conceited without cause by the mind of his flesh, 19 and not holding fast to the head, from whom the entire body, by means of the joints and ligaments being supplied and being knit together, grows [with] the growth of God. 20 Since youp died with Christ from the rudimentary elements [or, basic teachings] of the world, why as living in the world are youp submitting to regulations? 21 "Youp yourselves should not handle nor should youp taste nor should youp touch," 22 which [things] are all for corruption with the using, according to the commandments and teachings of people, [cp. Isaiah 29:13] 23 which are indeed having a reputation of wisdom in self-imposed religion and [false] humility and severe discipline [or, non-indulgence] of [the] body, [but which are] not of any value against indulgence of the flesh.

Philippians 2:5-8

THE SELF-HUMBLING OF MESSIAH
ECB 5 Indeed have this thought in you, which is also in Messiah Yah Shua: 6 who, being in the form of Elohim, deemed it not usurpation to be equal with Elohim: 7 but voided himself and took the form of a servant and became in the likeness of humanity: 8 and being found in configuration as a human, he humbled himself and became obedient to death - even the death of the stake.

Hebrews 1:8-9

ALT 8 on the other hand to the Son [He says], "Your throne, O God, [is] into the age of the age [fig., forever and ever]; a scepter of integrity [is] the scepter of Your kingdom. 9 You loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; for this reason God, your God anointed You with [the] oil of great happiness above Your companions." [Psalm 4:5,6]

Paul was still serving in the temple made by hands. During the covenant transition era, the typical sacrifices became a burden to Paul.

2 Corinthians 5:1-10

CLV 1 For we are aware that, if our terrestrial tabernacle house should be demolished, we have a building of God, a house not made by hands, eonian, in the heavens." 2 For in this also we are groaning, longing to be dressed in our habitation which is out of heaven, 3 if so be that, being dressed also, we shall not be found naked." 4 For we also, who are in the tabernacle, are groaning, being burdened, on which we are not wanting to be stripped, but to be dressed, that the mortal may be swallowed up by life." 5 Now He Who produces us for this same longing is God, Who is also giving us the earnest of the spirit." 6 Being, then, courageous always, and aware that, being at home in the body, we are away from home from the Lord" 7 (for by faith are we walking, not by perception), 8 yet we are encouraged, and are delighting rather to be away from home out of the body and to be at home with the Lord." 9 Wherefore we are ambitious also, whether at home or away from home, to be well pleasing to Him." 10 For all of us must be manifested in front of the dais of Christ, that each should be requited for that which he puts into practice through the body, whether good or bad."

I don't think Paul needs his thorn in the flesh (in heaven) and we won't need to procreate in heaven. Here is where we are born and grow up. Nobody gets to take their flesh with them. When I die, I will leave here and enter heaven without my original flesh. How obvious is that?

If you literally want to take your flesh up into the air with you, then consider that even mountaineers call any hight above 26,000 ft  "the death zone" for bodies of flesh. You may really want your familiar body of flesh in heaven but maybe you will just have to settle for a somewhat different one. Most famously the Egyptians wanted to keep their original flesh in tact. Freezing humans or animals with the hope for a future revival is called cryopreserving. It is probably colder than the lowest part of Dante's hell, where Satan is supposedly being kept frozen. Of course the word hell is not even in the bible unless you have a bad translation, and Dante's work is also fictitious so I wouldn't worry about it.
