The Bodies

1 Corinthians 15:35-36  But someone will protest, "How are the dead ones being roused? And to which body are they coming?"  Fool! What you are sowing is not given life unless it dies.

These two verses are from a letter sent to a body of Greeks living in the city of Corinth. The author of the letter was born in the city of Tarsus where the river empties into the sea. But Paul of Tarsus from the tribe of Benjamin was brought up in the city of Jerusalem. With his status as a learned religious Jew and Roman citizen, Paul dedicated himself to eliminating those being schooled by the master Yashua. Paul tried to kill off the body of the Jewish messiah even as it was being raised. Raised by a devout Jewish family, some of Paul's relatives were born again into the body of the messiah before Paul was; namely Andronicus and Junio. Paul's hands-on family trade was that of making tents from the silky hair of the angora goat.

Paul eventually joins the body of Yashua and becomes known as an apostle even though he was not of the original twelve. He calls his conversion an abortion, which in the Greek is ektroma. Ek means out and troma means wound. Paul was traumatized out of his corporate body of birth by the master Yashua himself.

Acts 9:3-9 ECB 3 And as he goes, so be it, he approaches Dammeseq: and suddenly he is enveloped in a light from the heavens 4 and he falls to the earth: and he hears a voice wording to him, Shaul, Shaul, why persecute you me? 5 And he says, Who are you, Adonay? And Adonay says, I AM Yah Shua whom you persecute: it is hard for you to heel against the stings. 6 And trembling and astonished, he says, Adonay, what will you that I do? And Adonay says to him, Rise and enter the city, to be spoken to as to what to do. 7 - and the men journeying with him stand nodding - indeed hearing a voice but observing no one. 8 And Shaul rises from the earth; - his eyes are open but he sees no one: but they hand lead him and bring him to Dammeseq: 9 and he is three days not seeing, and neither eats nor drinks. 13 And Hanan Yah answers, Adonay, I hear from many concerning this man, as many evils as he does to your holy at Yeru Shalem: 14 and here he has authority from the archpriests to bind all who call on your name. 15 And Adonay says to him, Go your way: for he is a selected vessel to me to bear my name in the sight of the goyim and sovereigns and the sons of Yisra El: 16 for I exemplify to him as much as he must suffer for sake of my name.

Saul loses both his God-given human posture and his eyesight. More dramatic than Nebuchadnezzar's conversion, Saul is traumatically humbled by God himself in order to realize the true humanity he would later practice as Paul the apostle.

Galatians 1:13-14  ECB 13 For you heard of my former behavior in Yah Hudahism, how I excessively persecuted and ravaged the ecclesia of Elohim: 14 and advanced in Yah Hudahism above my many contemporaries in my own genos - being more superabundantly a zealot of the traditions of my patriarchs.

Paul was called out of the city-of-God destruction business by trauma. He was blinded by the true light and knocked off his horse (maybe a donkey) to reveal to him his true condition. He was inhumanely persecuting the image of God in man, so he was made blind and thrown down to the dust of the earth by the Son of the supreme Elohim. It was some time later that his sight was restored and he rose with a new perspective.

Acts 9:17  LITV 17 And Ananias went away and entered into the house. And putting hands on him he said, Brother Saul, the Lord has sent me, Jesus, the One who appeared to you in the highway on which you came, that you may see and be filled of the Holy Spirit. 18 And instantly it was as if scales fell away from his eyes. And rising up at the thing happening, he was baptized. 19 And taking food he was strengthened. And Saul was with the disciples in Damascus some days.

Saul devoted the rest of his life to building up the renewed human body he once tried to keep down. He was a pharisee educated in law by one of the foremost first century Jewish teachers, yet Saul did not follow Gamaliel's advice. Gamaliel said that if the messiah movement was of God it could not be stopped, but if it was just started by one of the humans it would eventually disintegrate on its own.

Acts 5:34-39 ECB 34 But one rises in the sanhedrim - a Pharisee named Gamli El - a doctor of the torah honored among all the people: and he summons to make a little space for the apostles; 35 and says to them, Men - Yisra Eliym, heed to yourselves what you are about to transact as to these humans. 36 For ere these days, rose Theudas, wording himself to be someone; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves; who was taken out: and all, as many as obeyed him, dissolved, and became to naught. 37 After this one, rose Yah Hudah - a Galiliy in the days of the registration, and drew many people after him; and he destructed: and all, as many as obeyed him, scattered. 38 And now I word to you, Depart from these humans, and let them alone: for whenever this counsel or this work is of humanity, it disintegrates: 39 but if it is of Elohim, you cannot disintegrate it; lest ever you are even found to be Elohim-opponents.

Saul's individual body was sown by his father and nurtured by his mother's body for forty weeks until he was given birth and the cord was cut. He then took his first breath of the air shared by his devout Jewish family near the Berdan river bay of the Mediterranean sea. In Greek 'sperma' means that which is sown. You can think of a kernal of corn that can become a field of corn or Adam and Eve who eventually sow enough seed to become a national body. Ironically or intentionally, Paul sowed no seed in the flesh, yet worked harder than anyone to build up the true Israel of Yashua. Adam was first given the great commission to procreate and proselytize all the nations of the world into the image of the true Elohim. It culminated into the national body of Christ joined organically in the spiritual realm which is independent of location and no longer concerned with the body of origin.

1 Corinthians 15:42-45 Interlinear  42 Thus also the resurrection of the dead ones. It is being sown in corruption. It is being awakened in incorruption. 43 It is being sown in dishonor. It is being awakened in glory. It is being sown in weakness. It is being awakened in ability. 44 It is being sown a soulish body. It is being awakened a spiritual body. 45 Thus also it has been written, The first human Adam came into a living soul; the last Adam came into a life giving spirit.

The Holy Spirit concieved Jesus in Mary into one of the last tribes living in the land. He was raised in the barely living soul of Israel. The Holy Spirit raised His body out of the water at his baptism and remained on Him (Genesis 1 motifs). The Holy Spirit raised Him out from the dead ones after the crucifixion.

Israel was so scattered that the Greeks in Corinth considered the nation dead and without hope of ever having a national body again. Paul called those Greeks fools. Unless the national body in the flesh continues to die it can not be made to live in the new spiritual covenant of Christ. The twelve tribes in the flesh were driven out of the land for covenant violations but even those who were back in the covenant land of Jerusalem were told continue to put the old man (Adam) to death and follow the new covenant man. They were not told to revive the old covenant man. In fact they were warned against it.

Jacob 1:8 YLT 8 a two-souled man is unstable in all his ways. Jacob 4:8 YLT 8 draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you; cleanse hands, ye sinners! and purify hearts, ye two-souled!

Choose your soul: the dying image of God in the family of Adam or the living image of God in the family of Christ.

Romans 7:24 ECB 24 Miserable human - I! Who rescues me from the body of this death?

Matthew 16:25-26  ECB  LOSE THE SOUL TO FIND THE SOUL

For whoever wills to save his soul, loses it: and whoever loses his soul for my sake, finds it: 26 for what is a human benefited whenever he gains the whole cosmos and loses his own soul? Or what gives a human in exchange for his soul?

The adversary actually offered the whole cosmos to Yashua in exchange for a fallen soul; if He would only fall down and worship that false elohim.

Colossians 3:9-10 Don't be falsifying into one another. Come out from the old human together with his functions. And be putting on the new (human); the one being renewed into recognition according to the image of the one creating him

Him; singular human, becomes him; corporate humanity. Jesus wasn't created. He said, "Before Abraham was I Am." And they took up stones to stone Him. He took on humanity in the flesh and then He permanently created the completed and unfallen image of God in Adam by making a new covenant creation.

1Corinthians 15:44-47 CLV 44 It is sown a soulish body; it is roused a spiritual body. 45 If there is a soulish body, there is a spiritual also. Thus it is written also, The first man, Adam, "became a living soul:the last Adam a vivifying Spirit."46 But not first the spiritual, but the soulish, thereupon the spiritual. 47 The first man was out of the earth, soilish; the second Man is the Lord out of heaven. 35-39 CLV 35 But someone will be protesting, How are the dead being roused? Now with what body are they coming36 Imprudent one! What you are sowing is not being vivified if it should not be dying. 37 And, what you are sowing, you are not sowing the body which shall come to be, but a naked kernel, perchance of wheat or some of the rest. 38 Yet God is giving it a body according as He wills, and to each of the seeds its own body. 39 Not all flesh is the same flesh, but there is one, indeed, of men, yet another flesh of beasts, yet another flesh of flyers, yet another of fishes.

We can't seem to escape the original sperma of the original corporate bodies, here again called: men, beasts, flyers, and fish. Intentionally  enough, the kingdom of God was taken from the Jews and given to the four nations of Babylon, Persians, Greeks and Romans before all national bodies were evangelized into the new kingdom body of Christ. Paul did not fight the still untamed beasts in Ephesis for nothing did he?

1 Corinthians 15:32  ECB 32 If after the manner of humanity I strove with beasts at Ephesus, what benefit I, if the dead rise not? Eat and drink - for tomorrow we die.

The pre-evangelism by way humanity's diaspora into the four animal kingdoms prophecied by Daniel, led up to Peter's vision of all the nations entering his body.

Acts10:11-13 LITV 11 And he saw the heaven being opened and a certain vessel like a great sheet coming down on him, being bound by four corners, and let down onto the earth; 12 in which were all the four-footed animals of the earth, and the wild beasts, and the creeping things, and the birds of the heaven. 13 And a voice came to him, Rise up, Peter, slay and eat.

As Jacob wrote to the twelve tribes through seeded:  James 3:7 ECB 7 For all nature, both of beasts and of flyers, both of creepers and of those in the sea, is tamed - and has been tamed by human nature:

Romans 8:23 CLV 22 For we are aware that the entire creation is groaning and travailing together until now. 23 Yet not only so, but we ourselves also, who have the firstfruit of the spirit, we ourselves also, are groaning in ourselves, awaiting the sonship, the deliverance of our body.

1 Corinthians 50-54 CLV 50 Now this I am averring, brethren, that flesh and blood is not able to enjoy an allotment in the kingdom of God, neither is corruption enjoying the allotment of incorruption." 51 Lo! a secret to you am I telling! We all, indeed, shall not be put to repose, yet we all shall be changed, 52 in an instant, in the twinkle of an eye, at the last trump. For He will be trumpeting, and the dead will be roused incorruptible, and we shall be changed." 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal put on immortality." 54 Now, whenever this corruptible should be putting on incorruption and this mortal should be putting on immortality, then shall come to pass the word which is written, Swallowed up was Death by Victory."

Flesh and blood is an individual (or individuals) that is or was in a natural (soulish) corporate body but is not born again into the body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:44 ALT 44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body; [there] is a natural body, and [there] is a spiritual body.

John 3:3 CLV 3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Verily, verily, I am saying to you, If anyone should not be begotten anew, he can not perceive the kingdom of God."

As soon as a Jew was born again his inheritance was in the eternal kingdom and no longer in the flesh mode.

Romans 8:9 CLV  Yet you are not in flesh, but in spirit, if so be that God's spirit is making its home in you. Now if anyone has not Christ's spirit, this one is not His."

The USA is not an immortal body and it cannot give any one immortality. It became great and it revives, by borrowing from the image of Christ. The only immortal body is the city of God, also known as the bride of Christ, because Yashua's assembly bears His image of humanity in the fifth and neverending kingdom of the Father. The only way to eternal life is to be born from above and be raised in His image of humanity.

Romans 8:11 ALT 11 But if the Spirit of the One having raised up Jesus from [the]dead dwells in you(p), the One having raised up Christ from [the] dead will also give life to your(p) mortal bodies through His Spirit indwelling in you(p).

Ephesians 4:1-6  CLV 1 I am entreating you, then, I, the prisoner in the Lord, to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all humility and meekness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the spirit with the tie of peace: 4 one body and one spirit, according as you were called also with one expectation of your calling;" 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, Who is over all and through all and in all."

Colossians 2:16-17 Therefore let no one judge you in food or in drink or in the particulars of a festival, or of a new moon, or sabbaths, which are a shadow of the things which are about to be, but now the body is of the annointed (an epethet of Yeshua indicating He was the messiah; the promised deliverer of the Jewish nation [body] prophesied in the Hebrew Bible).
